Internal work, easier to run

Clear words. Clean processes.

I'm Priya, the one-person studio behind Cup & Code. I drink obscene amounts of coffee and find practical ways to make internal work easier to get done.

What I do

A few things I'm good at.

These describe the kind of work I do. Most of my recent work sits under NDA, so there are no client case studies here, only the shape of it.

SharePoint structure and governance

I've spent years working inside SharePoint. I help set up clear site architecture, sensible permissions, well-built lists and libraries, and the documentation that goes with them, so anyone joining the team can find what they need without asking around.

  • Permissions
  • Lists & libraries
  • Governance
  • Documentation

Power Apps and Power Automate

Need an intake form, an approval flow, or a way to track requests? I build practical Power Apps and Power Automate flows that fit the way your team already works, with the structure and notes in place so the next person on your team can follow them.

  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Approvals
  • Request tracking
  • Documentation

Technical documentation

Release notes, user guides, SOPs, internal emails. I write for the person who has to follow the doc at 11pm with a coffee: short sentences, verified steps, clean formatting. You get something your team will keep open in a tab, not something they paste into a folder and forget.

  • Release notes
  • SOPs
  • User guides

File and data cleanup

Folder structures that hold up under real use, naming rules that make sense at a glance and can be followed by anyone on the team. Doc cleanup, deduping, header normalization, sensible validation. Good data in, good data out.

  • Folder design
  • Naming conventions
  • File cleanup
  • Validation

Process

Clear communication at Cup & Code.

  1. 01

    Brief

You send the problem in your own words. I send back questions, a rough estimate, and a one-line idea of what "done" looks like.

  2. 02

    Scope

One short doc: what's in, what's out, what you'll get, and when. If the scope shifts, I update it and confirm with you before any added work begins.

  3. 03

    Build

I work async and send short written updates. You get a working thing, a quick demo, and a place to leave comments.

  4. 04

    Hand off

Final delivery comes with docs, change notes, and a 14-day window for small tweaks. Then we're done, or the next thing starts.

About

A generalist who likes things to work and stay that way.

I'm Priya. Cup & Code LLC brings together my experience in technical writing, process design, and automation, all in service of improving how internal work gets done from start to finish. Most of my career has been inside large organizations, where the work usually means improving a process, automating a step, building a tool, organizing information, or writing the guide that helps everyone use it.

I'm also helping my team explore how agents can support internal work. I start with the process and the people using it, then consider whether automation or an agent would actually help.

I like figuring out where things get unnecessarily complicated and finding practical ways to make them simpler, clearer, and easier to use.
